Borate treatments may be applied to accessible, exposed structural wood during new construction, additions, renovations, or repairs to help protect treated framing from termites and certain other wood-destroying organisms.
STRUCTURAL RISK RECOMMENDATIONS
We may recommend correcting drainage problems, reducing excess moisture, improving grading, removing wood-to-soil contact, or addressing other conditions that can increase termite risk.
